Week 17: 5 August -- Stubborn Tomatoes
So now they are just laughing at me. These guys are sitting there just refusing to ripen. And I know exactly what's going to happen...one week I'm going to have 25 pounds of tomatoes ripen at once.
The plums I have a plan for...sauce that I will freeze. But what about the rest. I guess it'll be BLTs and tricolores for a week straight. Actually I'm kind of looking forward to it.

I just spent 3 weeks on a US army base and they ran out of tomatoes half way through. Bring on the glut...
I was sure you'd have ripe tomatoes last weekend, but then I was sure Enron was a great stock too.
You gotta have ripe tomatoes by now, right?!
What happened? By now the tomatoes must be rotten?!? And here I've been rooting for them all summer! :0(
how the tomatoes going? if they are still green try putting some bannana skins around the vines
